Dr. Danielle McCarthur
Dr. Danielle McCarthur is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. She joined Greater Atlanta Women’s Healthcare in 2019. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Spelman College, where she was a recipient of the Bonner Foundation Scholarship and inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed her training in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. With a deep commitment to promoting preventive healthcare for women of all ages, Dr. McCarthur strives to educate women in underserved minority communities about healthy behaviors that support healthy living. She understands that every woman is an individual, and she provides personalized, evidence-based care to all.
Dr. McCarthur believes the basis of excellent health care is patient education and shared decision-making. She is enthusiastic about holistic approaches that address the mental and physical aspects of women’s health – she believes it is essential to improved health outcomes.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, the fine arts, entertainment, and is an avid reader. Dr. McCarthur is compassionate, caring, and committed to women’s health. She is a great addition to our medical practice and is currently accepting new patients.
